Family Center for Children with Special Needs

Competition Winner | In progress

A family center in Beer Sheva, Israel, spanning 5,000 sqm that caters to children with special needs, with a particular focus on those with autism. The design that was chosen draws inspiration from the sunken park's surroundings and features a distinctive path that links the building to both the city and the park. The building design boasts smooth curves, an unobstructed flow of circulation, and outdoor spaces that merge nature and sunlight into the structure. These outdoor areas include patios that blend with the topography and architecture, as well as an array of private sensory spaces.
